Transportation

Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Cairo International Airport and their hotel, although the Baron and Fairmont Hotels have complimentary shuttles. Please see the instructions above to arrange your pick-up with these hotels; otherwise there will be a representative during certain peak hours with a sign indicating the IAWG annual meeting at the arrival lobby who can direct you to a taxi or other public transportation. A taxi from the airport to any of the three hotels should cost approximately 20-30 LE (4-6 USD).

Transportation to and from the three designated hotels to the WHO meeting venue will be provided for those staying at the specific hotels. If you are staying at another location, please arrange your own means of transportation, accordingly. Please note that since heavy traffic is expected in Cairo, we encourage you to leave ample time for any delays. The meeting will begin at the scheduled time regardless of participant delays.
